Why move-out is a different job
A move-out clean is not a standard clean on an empty house. It is an inspection-standard reset. Cabinets and drawers are cleaned inside because they are empty. Oven and refrigerator interiors are included by default, which is not true of any of our other home cleanings. Baseboards, window sills and appliance exteriors all get covered.
The checklist
Kitchen: inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside the microwave, inside empty cabinets and drawers, counters, sink, appliance exteriors. Bathrooms: shower, tub, toilet, mirror, vanity, inside empty cabinets. Everywhere: baseboards, window sills, doors and door frames, light fixtures within reach, floors vacuumed and mopped, trash removed.
Where deposits actually get lost
In order: the oven, the refrigerator, inside cabinet interiors, and the grout in the master shower. Those four are what an inspector opens first, and they are exactly the four things a rushed self-clean skips. Carpet is a distant fifth and often needs professional cleaning as a separate line item.
Timing it right
Book the clean after the home is empty and before the walkthrough. An empty home lets the crew reach everything and finish faster, which also keeps your price down. If furniture is still in place, we can work around it, but expect to pay for the extra time and expect the inspector to find what we could not reach.
For landlords and property managers
Turn time is the whole game. A same-week move-out clean plus carpet cleaning gets a unit listing-ready faster than trying to sequence contractors across two weeks. We schedule Monday through Saturday, and for recurring turnover work we can hold a standing slot.
For realtors before listing photos
Photos are unforgiving. Grout, ceiling fan blades, window sills and the inside edge of the shower door all read on camera. A deep or move-out clean the day before the photographer arrives is one of the cheapest things you can do to a listing.
