The order everybody gets backwards
People buy bins first. Then they sort into the bins. Then they put the bins onto shelves in a garage still coated in the dust, cobwebs and debris that made it unpleasant to be in. Six weeks later the garage feels the same, because it is the same, just with tidier piles.
Clean is what makes organized stick
A swept, dusted, wiped-down garage is a space you are willing to walk into. That is the actual mechanism. Organizing systems fail because people avoid the room, and people avoid the room because it is filthy, not because the bins were the wrong size.
What a garage clean covers
Floor sweep and debris removal, cobweb and dust removal, surface and shelf wipe-down, light organization, and household trash removed. Junk hauling is not part of it. We clean and lightly organize, we do not take volume away.
The Houston specifics
Humidity means cobwebs and dust bind to surfaces rather than sitting loose, and anything cardboard stored on a concrete floor pulls moisture and eventually collapses. Getting boxes up off the slab is the highest-value change most Houston garages need, and it is much easier to do on a swept floor.
Photos make the quote accurate
Garage jobs vary more than any other cleaning job we do. Two photos, one from the door and one of the worst corner, is enough for us to text a real price rather than a wide guess.
Pair it with the driveway
Garage cleaning and power washing the driveway on the same visit is the single biggest curb-appeal jump per dollar we see, especially before a listing.
